We create artisanal gelato and sorbets, made freshly every day in store. With ever-changing flavours, based on fresh seasonal products there is always a new one to try. We are passionate about the quality of the ingredients we use - our pistachios come from Bronte and our almonds from Avola and we personally source everything that goes into our products.

At La Mucca Nera we take coffee seriously. We use 100% Arabica Illy coffee beans, ground freshly to create an unforgettable aroma and a lingering taste.

Aperitivo in Italy is a pre-dinner drink, meant to “open” the palate. It gives you a chance to socialise, relax, and nibble as dinner approaches or is overlooked altogether.

MEET THE COUPLE BEHIND THE 'MUCCA'
Fabrizio's Italian, with two generations of gelato creators in his family. His grandfather had a 'black cow' where he obtained the fresh milk he used to make his ice cream. Michelle's a true Brightonian who loves all things Italian. Put us together and you get a fantastic Italian gelateria, pasticceria and wine bar in the heart of Brighton.
